What are matching gifts?

Matching gifts are a corporation's way of multiplying the benefits of their employees' charitable contributions. If you work for a company that offers a matching gift program, your gift to Temple University could be doubled or even tripled. Some companies match gifts made by retirees, spouses and/or partners.

If I work for a matching gift company, will my gift automatically be matched?
No, you need to contact your employer’s human resources or personnel department to initiate a match. Your employer will provide you with a matching gift form, telephone number or online request information. Send the completed form to Temple with your gift; we will do the rest.
