You may increase the impact of your gift dramatically if your company will match your gift. Matching gifts can increase your gift by a ratio of 1:1, 2:1, or even 3:1. Most company contributions follow the designation of the original gift. Please note, however, that many companies do have restrictions. Some companies only match unrestricted funds (University Unrestricted and school annual funds would meet this qualification). Some companies do not match gifts to athletics or fraternal organizations.
