Hundreds of companies currently match their employee's gifts or volunteer hours to UC Berkeley. For purposes of recognition, you receive full credit for these matching gifts. For receipting and tax reasons, the matched portion of the gift must be recorded on the corporation's record. If your company is eligible, there will be instructions on your company's guidelines whether an on-line process is available or whether you will need to request a matching form and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to UC Berkeley may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouse/partners.
